Back to my hometown, Cabeceiras de Basto, after 10 years away.

Lived last years in Paris and Madrid, well integrated in a corporate lifestyle. Left my career to embrace our family business (since 1943), focused on beekeeping equipment and packaging for fruit and vegetables.

Despite a rural area, it takes less than 1h to visit Guimarães, Braga and Oporto.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has played a major role in my life/personality since 2013. Being from a small town in Portugal, this app allowed me to gain a global perspective/network. Fortunately, I have been making good friends and crafting wonderful stories/memories.

Interests

Life in general, but love this constant exposure to new cultures and ideas in particular. Moreover, business/entrepreneurship is something that is part of my soul. My challenge is definitely having both synchronized.

Music, Movies, and Books

Travelling in general really opens our mind; but art also plays a similar role. Both ways are memorable and make life a more interesting thing. Don't want to specify, because I've changed this section too many times. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many! :) E. g. Santiago caminos with CS friends; picking up fruit in Switzerland for two months with friends; debating in Moscow, staying with a CS friend; travelling in Africa with my family; backpacking in South America, staying with CS friends.
