Back in my hometown, Cabeceiras de Basto, after ten years away.

I spent these years living in Oporto, Madrid and Paris, fully immersed in a corporate lifestyle. I recently chose to leave that path to embrace our family business, founded in 1943, focused on beekeeping equipment and packaging for fruit and vegetables.

Although this is a rural area, Guimarães, Braga, and Oporto are all less than an hour away.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has played a major role in shaping who I am since 2013. Coming from a small town in Portugal, it gave me a truly global perspective and network. Along the way, I’ve made great friends and created unforgettable stories and memories.

Interests

I love life in general, but especially the constant exposure to new cultures and ideas. At the same time, business and entrepreneurship are deeply part of who I am. My ongoing challenge is keeping both worlds in harmony.

Music, Movies, and Books

Travelling truly opens the mind, and art plays a similar role. Both create memorable experiences and make life richer and more interesting. I’ll keep this open, as this section has already changed more times than I can count. 🙂

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many! 🙂 For example: walking the Camino de Santiago with Couchsurfing friends; spending two months picking fruit in Switzerland with friends; debating life in Moscow while staying with a CS friend; traveling across Africa with my family; and backpacking through South America, staying with Couchsurfing friends.
