I used to host strangers long before joining couchsurfing.
The experience was best with foreigners who have so much more to share due to cultural differences.

I travelled 3 months on my own in Asia in my early 20s with no plan.
I was really dreading this trip because I had always travelled with friends or family.
But it finally happened to be the best trip I did, meeting new amazing people every day, planing the trip day to day with extreme flexibility.
I totally recommend this kind of trip.
