Hi ! I'm Guillaume, a 24-year old French student from Bordeaux (yes, the wine city), and I love traveling and meeting new people from all over the world !

I never miss a chance to travel across Europe, even though it's kinda difficult with school. But when I do, I enjoy visiting main cities and am always (well... most of the time) amazed by their inhabitants.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first CS experience was in Vienna. It was awesome thanks to a great host ! He helped us discover the city, gave us tons of useful advices, and that made our trip even better. After a short Eurotrip, I want to see more of Europe as soon as possible ! I also dream about a longer trip in Europe, Canada and United Stated someday, who knows...

Interests

After some years of not knowing what to do with my life, I’m finally proud to say that I have found my path : I’m a future developer and I’ve moved to Paris to study in 42 !!

I love - of course - travelling, reading, binge-watching TV shows, pop music, going to restaurants and going out with friends. I'm a social networks addict (Facebook, Twitter...), and I sometimes play video games.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well... Pop music all the way ! I'm a huge fan of mainstream pop singers, I go to their concerts at least twice a year. But I also like other genres and I like discovering new artists. I’m also CRAZY about Eurovision !

Not really into movies, except blockbusters such as Marvel movies, but I LOVE TV shows ! I think I'm following around 20 different shows, and am never bored ! Also a Netflix subscriber haha.

About books... Harry Potter was my childhood book, I stopped counting how many times I've read all 7 of them ! I like French literature as well as other genres. If someone tells me they have read a good book, I'll try to know more and maybe read it too !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first - and only ! - time in China, I got my most amazing memories. Going for a walk on the Great Wall was the BEST thing EVER ! I couldn't realize I was in China, and none of my friends could either. We stood there, watching the mountains, when suddenly, one of us called their family, just to tell them : "Guess where I am ? I'm on the Great Wall of China !". And that's how much we were happy to be here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you French, French food, French songs, French everything, because France is the best country !!!! (Kidding :D) Honestly I can't really tell what I can teach you, we'll see about that.

Same thing about learning, I love discovering new languages (even though I suck at learning them in the first place !), and new traditions and cultures, so I'd love to learn all of this with you !

Sharing would be for me the best thing about couch surfing and meeting people. We can all teach something new to each other, and that's the beauty of it.
