About Me
-Cannot host until 15th of March - Ne peux pas héberger avant le 15 mars -
Hello, my name is Guillaume, currently workink as a bellman in a famous hôtel in the heart of Paris.
After years of using Couchsurfing as a traveler, I'm happy to give it back by finally hosting people.
I know that one of the main purpose of CS is to save money on accomodation, I have no problem with that as I did it myself. But please, at least, let's share some time together.
Due to my work schedule, I cannot host people everyday. Please, apply only for thursday/friday/saturday. On the other days, it's not doable for me. I accept request for one night or two. I only take solo traveler at the moment. You'll have your own bed with your own privacy :)
As I'm quite busy with my work and friends, I cannot host all the time, I'm sorry if I don't answer to every request, but I'll be happy to meet you and show you around even if I'm not able to host when you ask.
I'm very easy going, enjoy laughing, food, party, drinking. I would be happy to show you around Paris, even the countryside if I have a car available (there are some nice castles and landscapes in the suburbs of Paris). I love travelling and I love meeting different cultures, I used to live in countries were people gave me the best hospitality, I want to do the same. If you want to discover the french food, pastries, wines, language, swear words, culture... I would be very pleased to be your guide, whatever is your gender, religion, orientation, skin/hair colour, foot size ! Only one thing : if you are smoker, you can only smoke outside.
Also I can help you with planning your trip around France/Europe, I'm used to assist tourists :p
I speak English and French. Used to speak Spanish too, but forgot most of it unfortunately. I'm talking enough Chinese to survive, I'd like to improve it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to couchsurf in several countries. Now is time to give that opportunity back. I'm willing to host, and most of all, offer to visitors a real experience of french culture and Paris.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I discovered CS in Ottawa, Canada. I had the chance to do it as well in Toronto and Quebec. Then in the US (DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia). I did it in Australia as well, and during my life in Asia (Japan).
I don't have much reviews on my profile as I was using the account of my ex girlfriend, but my profile is real :D
What I love in Couchsurfing is the chance to discover a town in a much different way, with local people.
Interests
-Traveling and discovering new cultures. Living and working in places different from mine (Taiwan, Korea, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore...).
-I want to learn mandarin. I already have some basis which make me able to order a small bowl of noodles, no spicy, with beef. I also can ask directions, but I won't be able to understand the answer.
-Always happy to hang out, for nice or cheap restaurants, wandering around, beers or spirits, sports...
-Really amazed about wildlife.
-Writing articles about international politics, cultures and travels.

-One year driving around Australia, discovering the incredible wildlife and the real BBQ.
-Snorkeling in the Barrer Reef! Surfing.
-Becoming best friends with two indonesian maids during my time in Taïwan, unable to speak English but still able to show me the warmest friendship ever.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you around Paris, teach you about France, History maybe... food for sure.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I used to be tour guide in Taipei, I'd like to do the same for my guests in France.
I want to offer the best to my guests according to my financial limits. Unfortunately Paris is a very expensive city and I cannot provide incredible materials or foods, but I'll do my best to make you feel welcome.
If you need help to plan your trip, I'm very happy to help.
