Overview
About Me
I'm a French guy ... easy going, rarely angry, let say "peace" ...
From all my friends I learned that I'm pretty mysterious, "in the good sense" they say, which means (as far as I understand) that I'm so deeply interested in many different things that people hardly manage to say if I'm more like a scientist (serious & stuff) or actually more like an artist, often dreaming ...
Well, let's find out !
By the way, if you wanna see more pictures, you can find me on Facebook as Guillaume Urbanzyk or on 微信 as GuillaumeUrban
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After many different travel experiences, I figure out my good memories are strongly connected to the people I met ... Wherever you go, a trip can be very fun, it only depends on who you meet and what you share, so the idea of spending time in unknown local people place and share as much as possible with them, sounds like what I've always unconciously been looking for !
Interests
My interests ... your interests !
All kinds of sports (except curling), especially what's related with mountain
All kinds of art, modern, classic, and especially photography & 书法 since I live in China (in normal time).
Long & chilly conversations with some good food, yeah I love cooking !

Music, Movies, and Books
All kinds of musics, about 5 hours per day and almost never the same, but good musics, I mean not commercial (tired of 小苹果 ...)
Same with movies, a blockbuster from time to time in fine but the end is always the same ... Old Hong Kong movies are very good, French nouvelle vague stuff as well, I I had to quote some movies I love : The Big Blue & 苏州河 & Bellflower
I'm not a big reader, but I read a couple of philosophy books and few novels such as
Les Pensées de Pascal - Francis Fukuyama - Les mouches - Grapes of Wrath of Steinbeck ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing some nasty mountains in Alps
Ski in some pretty crazy off-piste area
Jumping from a bridge with elastic
Draw a moustache to Mao's face on a 1 元 bill
Teach, Learn, Share
I teached Mathematics, Physics, English and French to different students.
I helped animating a summer camp for adolescent children.
I learned ... wow I love learning things, that's why I wanna keep doing research, not to work (even if I used to work for a while), and keep learning things every day.
We trully can share everything, isn't it all about sharing ...
What I Can Share with Hosts
In China at the moment... Until spring 2022
In Nice, I live with my cool mum (she work's from monday to friday), in a comfortable place not far from the center. I have a scooter and a car that I share with my sister. Pleasure to show you around ! Rather nature spots than clubs, but definitely not against some party if there is some special event somewhere.
In Hefei, I live in a very very small room in a not very convenient area of the city (科学岛) , without internet nor TV (chinese style), so I can share as much as I have, which means the light, the water, my bed, my music, my computer, my coffee.
