About Me

I am a 25 years old guy who has just finished his engineering studies. I am traveling by hitchhike for the last 2 years around the world to enjoy the life to the optimum and to define what I really yo with my life.

I grew up in a very small farming town in France (close to the ocean Atlantic) where the days are long and quiet. The world is a big place, and I want to see it as soon as I can and experience it with the people who live in it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to experience the world in the most real way possible while meeting the most interesting people!

When I visited Japan 3 years ago, I had the opportunity to stay in the home of a Japanese couple. They opened up their home to me, shared their stories, showed me around the city, and taught me some interesting Japanese traditions and history. My experience with that couple showed me that the only way I wanted to travel in the future is to spend it with other amazing and interesting people. Couchsurfing allows for this and gives me a way to meet new and amazing people who I otherwise would likely never have the chance to meet

Interests

Caving, hiking, kayaking, and playing sports (rugby , handball, ultimate frisbee, etc.) is how I spend a lot of my free time.

Long, quality talks around a fire, hot tubs, boat rides, bicycling down tall hills, going to sporting events, exploring, concerts... The list could really continue for a while. Two of my favorite things are going on adventures and hearing stories, maybe YOUR story!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things are not really those we speak about. But well, I ll give a try: sleep in a temple with the monks, crossing the Atlantic Ocean with a sailing boat, be invited to an hindu/albanian ceremony, travel Africa and America by hitchikking with a small tiny bag, and playing at the worlds championship of the best sport of the world : Ultimate frisbee .

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach about my experience travelling around the world by hitchhiking for 2-3 years, share my passions and interest in geopolitics and history. Learn about everything possible.

I feel important to share the knowledges I assimilated about the different ways of living I witnessed while traveling.
To do so, I give lectures in pedagogical centers (schools, libraries, orphanages, universities, etc...) aiming towards cultural understandings and tolerance.
