About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi Everyone! Welcome to my CS Profile! Feel yourself like home! Take a chair! D'you like something to drink ? Oh, and I forgot, Hi, my name is Guillaume, nice meeting you!

Okay then now you're here, visiting my profile, we have now 8 categories, couple of minutes of your time and few scroll down to get to know who each other! Well let's do it!

So, first thing first, I am French-Canadian which that explain my very french first name which you might mispronounce at the moment and that's totally okay for me. I get used to it! hahah!. If there is any interrogations about this one, here's some help: English people used to call me William, Germans call me Wilhem/Willy and Chinese people just call me Bill. Please, feel yourself free to choose the nicknames you like the most!

About me
I simply like to enjoy life, food, music, drinks. I am passionate by biking, writing. I stroingly and highly believe that it's important to be out of our comfort zone. This is a way that I like to do, that's make me feel that I'm involving. That I'm growing up.

About me when I travel:
I'd like to travel in the most authentic way. To discover new places by your help and your passion that you have for your city. Places who doesn't exist in any travel guide: The real cool ones! Meeting new people, hearing your stories and just having real fun!

Let's talk about life, about music the old good one, talk about what's drive you in life and about it deserves to be talk !
I am open minded, there isn't taboo topic.

To me, CS experience is the strongest way to personally involve in my life and it's the best way to change a simple trip into a memorable one. Every destinations are amazing, but what makes them AWESOME are the people that you have met there.

So hopefully you are at the moment more curious about my profile!
Enjoy, and who knows, maybe see you, at my place or yours!

PHILOSOPHY

This is what i've learned since the last years:

As long as your discreate, as long as you do business and as long that you doesn't hurt anybody, you can do what you want. √

Be Better than yesterday, doesn't matter about tomorrow. The most important is to be a better person everyday.√

Life is full of concepts. How to live, how to think, how to love and so on. In any case that you discover that somebody is having a different vision than yours, and you feel that this vision is way better than yours, don't be stubborn and just change your mind. √

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My flat is yours, and if you have enough time, that will please me to make you discover the real Montreal which is far far away from what you might read in a travel book. The essence of a destination can't be share by a book. Let me show you my world!

CouchSurfing is all about learning experience, thing that you cannot find in a 15 beds dormitory or the most luxurious hotel. CS, is the most human way to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

« Couchsurfing is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're gonna get! »
This is what Forrest Gump would probably say, if he had the chance to be on CS.

The most amazing time I had in my life, I had it with a backpack on my shoulder, a map in my hands and a little piece of paper in my pocket with the address of my new host.

I can't get used of that feeling, that tiny stress that you feel inside at the first knock on the CS's door, or the minutes that you wait at the meeting point, looking at everybody and try to see where is your CS is.
