CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
Living is fun so do not regret anything you do anytime...
I am French, I've been living in the US for a few years already and traveling is my life. I started to travel when I was 12 and I never wanted to stop. I grew up next to the German, Luxembourg and Belgian borders; so the idea of crossing borders and finding adventures has always been a part of my life.
In my adolescence, I started to backpack Europe: Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic, England. I've stayed at many places including my friends and hostels. I also backpacked North Africa: Morocco and Tunisia. I have also had the opportunity to live in China for almost a year. I have not had the chance to surf outside of the States since I became a member of this community but I have been very much involved as most my friends are couchsufers.
I live in California more exactly in Long Beach. i like to cook and hang out at home, party (sometimes) and we like to be surrounded by people who are from different countries and/or well traveled. I am very social, friendly, sharing and open-minded.
PHILOSOPHY
"When one man, for whatever reason, has the opportunity to lead an extraordinary life, he has no right to keep it to himself." - J. Cousteau
"I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move." - Robert Louis Stevenson
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the U.S., have hosted and surfed with my girlfriend and roommates through CS several times over the years, and I am only recently officially hosting and surfing through CS. I like hosting a lot, and meeting people as they pass through their travels. I hope to develop my profile, so that it might reflect my true and proud involvement in the CS community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The CS community never ceases to amaze me in being able to encounter amazing people with depth and character. I have always had an amazing experience, whether I was hosting or graciously hosted. They have all been my family away from family and home away from home.
Interests
I like cooking dishes from different countries (well... mostly French food), hiking, camping, biking, scuba diving, discovering new cultures, meeting new people and of course traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music and movies is a big part of my life. They create my environment, motivate me, provoke me to think and inspire me to do great things. I really enjoy small independent productions and music of every genre.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing that I have done and seen was run a few kilometers across the Great Wall of China. The landscape and the antiquity of China has been one of the most priceless experiences of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy cultural exchange (language, cooking, and experiences). Nothing beats traveling stories with the CS community in front of a cold beer.
Countries I’ve Visited
Germany, Hungary, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia
