About Me

In spite of that I'm currently studying at the University of Barcelona, I try to travel whenever I can. Travelling all around the world means discover cultures that probably you are not used to, and precisely this attracts my attention.

I like practising any kind of sport and if I had the chance to visit a new place by bike, I would not let it pass. For many years now I play futsal -also known as indoor soccer-. I am aslo a nature lover, so I strongly believe that there is no better way to know a place through an unforgettable trekking experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Beyond my traveling ambition, being abroad is an exceptional way to grow up. Being immersed in the local culture which all it includes (language, traditions, everyday life and speech…), means to be receptive to upcoming events, that is to say, to open your mind and take part of another reality.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything that sounds good to my ears is welcome, but if I have to go into details, I would say that I have predilection for Rap, Reggae, Ska and Rock. Bands or singers as System Of A Down, The Offspring, Linkin Park, Bob Marley, Naaman, Sharif, Rayden, ZPU, Obrint Pas, La Gossa Sorda, Aspencat or Auxili are an example.

I love reading, and probably for that reason I'm studying Modern Languages and Literatures at the university. I could recommend hundreds of books, but if I had to choose one, I would take Letters to a Young Poet, written by Rainer Maria Rilke. Simply magnificent.

Regarding movies, bearing in mind that I have seen such a large number of them, I have to say that there are no films as good as Clint Eastwood ones. I would highlight Mystic River, Pale Rider, Gran Torino or Million Dollar Baby.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I strongly believe that sharing travel experiences is the best method to spend time with local hosts from anywhere you go. Contrasting and realizing how different and paradoxically similar is the planet we live in.
Personally, I consider that the action of listening is, sadly, an obsolete skill. The best opportunity to learn is by listening, and it is something we should keep in mind.
