About Me
Hi!
I am a Spanish student who is 24. This year I am graduating from Business Management and Law at the University of Barcelona. After living for some time in Canada, I am back to my hometown (Manlleu) to chill and relax before I start my master's degree. Meanwhile, I would be very happy to meet with couchsurfers and show them the beautiful nature around my area.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a very active and open minded person who is looking for new experiences. Since I was a child, I had the opportunity to travel with my family all around Europe. When I grew older, I started to travel "solo" in countries such as Ukraine, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Slovakia and amongst other. This just helped me to open my mind to new cultures and ideas, creating a strong curiosity for every and each part of the world in me.
I believe that coachsurfing provides me exactly what I need when travelling, have an in-depth experience with the culture and people of the country. I enjoy the simple fact of having conversations about peoples' ideas and passions. This is a constant inspiration that progressively helps me realise that the similarities between the different areas of the world are stronger than what we think separates us. Couchsurfing helps me to enforce the conviction that a global open society is possible.
Interests
My interests go around literature, cinema, international politics and history. As a professional, my passion lies in working with "forcibly displaced persons. I have been working with Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the South Caucasus for 6 months. Therefore I am fascinated by anything related to the Humanitarian Action and International Development.
During my free time, I love to spend time outdoors. Back at home (Spain), I can spend hours running around the mountains nearby my hometown. I also have to admit that when I am far from home, the thing I miss the most is to go hiking with my friend and family. Therefore, if we have the chance, I would love to go for an outdoor walk with you!
