About Me

Hi everyone on CS! I'm Guillermo/William (in english) and I'm from Spain.
I hate this "describe yourself" boxes xD I always feel like if i write down just a couple of things its going to be really incomplete :0
In any case, Im in my 20s, im trying to find my place in the world/cosmos and the main problem seems to be that i like to do too many things: i love drawing, music and dancing, crafting... and im not very good at any of them xD; i've done different ways of political activism (antispeciesism and feminism mainly); i'm really into kung fu, tai chi, yoga (and any possible kind of mystical gibberish i find); meditation, psychology...
So! Right now I'm trying to do things one step at a time and decided to go to Norway and try and finish my degree (enviromental sciences) there.

Oh. Im vegan. You know I had to say it. Its compulsory for us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im trying to do less tourism and more travelling, getting back to the "human scale" of doing things. Spending more time in each place, connecting more and feeling less like im "consuming" a place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: it's literally impossible to choose, depends on the mood... Frank Turner is a must, The XX are too good, Maxïmo Park (completely underrated), Daughter and Ben Howard are amazing and they should have kids. Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm are my background music lately and I always play trip hop to draw (Massive Attack, Hugo Kant and the sorts).

Movies: The Matrix, I think it has aged well :) The Bridges of Madison County, if you want to be sad for the rest of your life. Human, a must-see documentary.

Books: I love Murakami's style sooo... A Wild Sheep Chase. Among essays... The Wisdom of Insecurity, from Alan Watts.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everything will be fine.

I would love to learn to dance! :o

There are only two real Truths in our Universe: that everything Changes and that the only thing real is the Present time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Im told i give good life advice :) I can teach some yoga, some meditation...
