About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because it offers me the chance to meet another places, in a more genuine way, and far from what is traditional or comercial tourism, and focus on the aspects that are peculiar, unique, and fundamentally, on people and their culture: how they live, what they eat, what they read, what music they listen to, etc.
Interests
I love reading, playing guitar, and, when I have the time,,,write. I divide my day between work and my other passion, the lutherie. Definitely, the music has a very important place in my life, but much to my regret, I must admit I'm not very good dancer (but i still can learn !!!)
Anyway, I really enjoy the live music, and if an interesting show will be presented near (or sometimes not so), i will go, whether it's in a stadium or in a smaller environment. I also enjoy the good conversations and, if they are accompanied by a coffee (or a good wine), the better.

Music, Movies, and Books
Although as a matter of habit, I am more familiar with jazz and blues, I enjoy all kinds of music. Currently, I am very involved with Chris Robinson and his "brotherhood", which in turn has allowed me to re discover The Grateful Dead. But I can also enjoy an album of Bowie, Piazzolla, Miles Davis, The Raconteurs or Los Lobos, with the same enthusiasm. Something similar happens to me with literature. So, Borges, Hemingway, Graham Greene, Jack Kerouac, Norman Mailer live together in my library ... among many others ...
I really like the films of Wes Anderson ... and at this point I must admit that I'm a hardcore fan of ... Star Wars !!! (but only the three originals). As for TV, I can mention Sherlock ... and above all things ... Portlandia !!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's been a couple of years, since i crossed the Andes Mountains riding along with a group of great people, through a place called "Paso de Los Patos" ... It was an amazing and very extreme experience,,,
and last year, along with my good friend Silvia, i walk the whole "Camino de Santiago", from Saint Jean Pied du Port in the French Pyrenees, to Finisterre, at the western end of Galicia... we walk, for almost 40 days!!!
