Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I attended a lot of events in Philadelphia where I stayed for a couple of months back in 2012, there was where I logged in CS for the first time. I really enjoyed them and i ve been attending regularly events since then wherever I have been. I have made lifelong friends and I am so grateful to CS for this. I have participated in the Manchester Invasion Camp in 2014 and 2015 as well as La Braderie de Lille Meeting in 2014 and Balkan Mafia Meeting in Bunec (Albania) in May 2015!
Amazing times in all of them.
I have hosted a few people and surfed in different countries. I am afraid I can't host at the moment but perhaps in the near future I ll be able to reopen my house to you wherever lifes take me! Still a mistery

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted by Fernando and Joel in Boston for the first time since I joined CS. It was a very rainy weekend, but in spite of that it was a really cool surfing experience and they made me feel like if I was in my own place since the first day I stepped into their house. Very charming and relaxed people!
Then I surfed again during La Braderie and the following Swiss trip.
Recently surfed in various countries in SE Asia, I dont have enough words to describe how much hospitality and soulmates I have found in this part of the world.
Overall, all unforgettable experiences.

I have hosted few travellers and was delighted to open my house to CS friends who I met around the world.

Interests

Backpack always ready to run the world when time off, passionate traveller, interacting with locals and other travellers ... intellectually restless, love to get other's perspectives from pretty much anything! Its just so rewarding...quite sporty...tennis,swimming,running,basket,hiking,cycling...some kind of exercise a day is a must!... having a good but healthy meal! laughing, coffee addict anytime anywhere... always with good souls around ... cooking...dancing (salsa, bachata) ... language self-learner when possible...but why not sometimes (not many though) just kill time and enjoy homes's peace.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any movie reflecting situations and feelings which occur in real life. Any good comedy is always welcome too. Any historical movie or good book from which you can learn something interesting or new.

Basically I love Brit music, especially songwriters and bands from indie rock to pop punk and some spanish pop-rock groups. However, I am always discovering new kinds of music wherever whenever. Dance and house music are also on my daily list to give some good rythm anytime ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Great memories of all my trips and cant choose a single one. It does not have to be the most beatiful place in the world as people always make the difference. One of the most rewarding things travelling and CS provide me is creating instant bonds with who eventually become a friend for a lifetime...how unique is people

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to teach some Spanish or some basic Catalan which are my mother languages. I also like to chat in Portuguese which is my favourite language so far (lived in Lisbon for half a year during college).
Love to share good chatting about cultural diferences and learn about how many different points of view in any matter exist around the world.
Lately trying to improve and expand my Mediterranean cooking skills, so looking forward new recipes
