One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

once i was stuck at a border high in the mountains and i climbed and climbed and climbed. i came to a rock that suited me and i sat. there were ants near my feet and they were doing their thing - carrying bits of earth and communicating when they met upon their pathways, as ants do. and then i looked below to the border where my bus, and other automobiles and people were stopped. and in the distance they were the same size as the ants, and the road was like the pathway of the ants. i wondered then about how long ants have been making their roads, and if we humans had made more roads than they, had moved more earth than they, and i felt humble, and in awe of the earth and all there is here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach english or spanish. I can teach you how to paint a house. I can share my ideas about social justice. I can share my culture - Chicago's North Pole, with a family from Indiana, mixed up with living abroad. I can share a brew and a Backwood and some Bourbon. I can teach you how to freestyle, and share a dope cypher with you. I can share some dishes and teach you them and learn some of yours - I LOVE TO COOK! I can share the language of soccer with you.

I want to learn more about art and music - ALWAYS! Truth be told, there's not much that I'm not interested in learning about, mas agora, mais que todo, tenho muito vontade aprender falar Português!

Puedo enseñar ingles o castellano. Te puedo enseñar como pintar una casa. Puedo compartir mis ideas sobre la justicia social. Puedo compartir mi cultura - polo norte de Chicago, con familia de Indiana, mezclado con vivir afuera. Puedo compartir una chela y pito y Bourbon. Te puedo enseñar como freestyle, y compartir un freestyle bakan. Puedo compartir y enseñar unas comidas y aprender de las tuyas - ME ENCANTA COCINAR! Puedo compartir el idioma del fútbol contigo.

Quiero aprender mas sobre el arte y la música - SIEMPRE! Verdadamente, no hay mucho que no me interesa aprender, mas agora, mais que todo, tenho muito vontade aprender falar Português!
