About Me

I try to be a simple person. Always looking for new adventures and experiences. I am an only child. I prefer taking a deep dive in to the local culture of place by staying for a while in few places over visiting many places in a short period of time. I was born and raised in a small city called Bucaramanga (East of Colombia). In the past 10 years I have lived in different states in the U.S (Pennsylvania, Virginia, Oklahoma, New York and Florida) and in the north of Vietnam.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even though I have been a member since 2013, I've never really intended to couch surf until now 2015! I've been travelling in South East Asia for the past year and I met lots of people that highly recommended this website. This seems like a great opportunity to meet new interesting people, exchange travel tips and help each other .

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Merengue, Salsa, Vallenato and Latin music in general. I do like hip hop, rock and pop.

Movies: Forrest Gump, Beautiful mind, Dead at a funeral, Y Tu Mamá También, The Motorcycle Diaries....and many more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not as amazing as some stories I've heard but...

I quit my stable job as an engineer in the U.S and then moved to Ha long bay (north of Vietnam) to become an English teacher. Working with kids and teenagers was a very refreshing experience after having worked in a office for 8 years.

Swimming with Bioluminescent Plankton in Krabi, Thailand was a magical experience.
