À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
seeking out the good in this world. and the delicious.
ABOUT ME
if i had a job description it would read: student. my office would be a desk in the library. my salary is non-existent, but then again so are my responsibilities (until the time comes to write exams). i want to see the world and meet all its inhabitants (quite original, no?) and find out what makes us human, not merely well educated monkeys with better musical instincts and less hair.
i wonder if being content means you're really happy; seems to me a reason to be sad.
PHILOSOPHY
live life to learn, from people, from experience, from yourself. share along the way, and remember the past fondly and without regret.
Centres d'intérêt
anything that beeps/requires a battery.
food that is delicious.
going to gym to work out the stress of the day, also so i have a plausible reason to eat (lots of) food.
love to listen to music. so few things in this life can send a shiver up your spine, raise goosebumps down your arms, and plant a big smile on your face.
very into working with my hands, and play a few intstruments to that end. same goes for cooking. i'm not great at either, but i truly appreciate musical and culinary talent. i've also started to learn to knit, but quite honestly my knitting is shit :P

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
i love to watch movies, but have fallen into a cinematic drought. can you recommend something inspiring?
in terms of music, i'm mostly interested in listening to anything that moves you; if not your feet, then surely your soul - preferably both.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
witnessed the 9/11 world trade tower attack from fifth ave overlooking washington square park as a university student. felt the ground shake when the towers fell. watched the air turn a cloudy yellow as the breeze turned uptown overnight. by far the most bizarre, detached, and surreal experience in my life.
hopefully i can make more positive amazing experiences in the future...
