ABOUT ME
I'm a Marine Engineer (Sailor). I work for a few months at a time on ships, then I have a few months off. I like to travel to other countries and enjoy my time off there. I don't have one place that I call home, but I am searching for it!
PHILOSOPHY
When times get hard, suck it up.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'VE BEEN A MEMBER FOR 10 YEARS, WOOHOO!!!
Surfing, hosting (when I can), events, meeting other couchsurfers throughout the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went on tour with a band I was in and another band. There were a total of 11 of us in one van. We took out the seats so that we could fit, and did a west coast tour playing 20 shows in 23 days. I remember a lot of driving, a lot of parties and couchsurfing, and a stinky van with a lot of guys' feet in my face.
Interests
Learning Spanish, traveling (obviously), Engineering, world music and culture, finding a place where I want to live.
Music, Movies, and Books
I typically am on the rock side of the spectrum - though I don't like to stick to one genre.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've hopped freight trains across America.
