ABOUT ME

I think I'm an agreeable person, down to earth, open minded... and trying to smile as much as possible. I can look like a shy guy at first, but it never last very long. Im' quiet but have some crazy moments too !
I'm really interested in organic agriculture, as a way to fix the world. This is more a new way of life that i'm currently searching.

PHILOSOPHY

It's difficult to explain that in a few words, I like to discuss these kind of things during hours ! Try to enjoy everything, even the bad things. Take care of the world around me, so it will take care of me. This is something close to oriental philosophies like Taoism. Trying to be part of the whole, never going against but together.
And also : humour is the key for a better life, a better world. I try to look at everything through this magical filter ! (well, it is not easy all the time...)

I may host people sometimes, but nothing sure as I'm moving a lot. My house is lost in the woods so it may be dificult to reach !

Interests

As I said, alternative agriculture and new ways of living. Ways to live closer to nature, never against it. I love hiking in the mountains, camp in the forest, take enough time to watch and listen to the great gig of the world around me.
I'm also really interested in arts in general (I studied Fine Arts during 3 years)
Music also, I play drums and would like to learn other instruments, like violin that I played when I was younger. I still don't understand why I stopped.
And lots of other things, reading, traveling, meeting people...and laugh, if I could I would laugh all the time. But the world is sometimes not funny enough.

Music, Movies, and Books

I hope you have your night for you...
Music : well...I could say Rock music, but that doesn't mean anything. Let's say that I prefer the music made by dead artists. And also Blues, Jazz, Klezmer and gypsy music, Classical music. I won't list my favourite bands because I have something else to do during the three next months...
For the movies, I love boring movies in which nothing happens, there is no story, and, if possible, no actors too... No, I love lots of different movies, a list would be, again, too long...
For the books, that may be longer than too long ! French literature, but also german (Hermann Hesse), chinese(Gao Xingjian), Czech (Kafka, Kundera), Russian (Boulgakov), South American... and maybe others, which I don't know yet ! Poetry, philosophy, comic books also... well this is just an insight ! I read a lot...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent one night with a friend in one of the towers of the great wall of China... propably the greatest night I ever had ! The rocks are so hard, and I really didn't sleep long but... that was a wonderful night anyway !

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always happy to learn, from handcrafts to metaphysical theories, and enjoy also to teach, or just explain, the few things I know.
As I worked during few years as a bookbinder, which is a disappearing job, I can explain lots of things about that, and about history of books from the egyptian scribes to the e-books... only if you are interested !
