About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Cultivate happiness and spread it !

ABOUT ME

I'm 37, and a travelling and Nature lover. Not just that I love doing so but it became a need since some time. Going around the globe to discover cultures and try to learn from them to always get better and even maybe wiser someday, that's a part of my way of life !

I also love taking time to contemplate Nature and beauty in all of its forms.

About my hobbies, here are some of them: my ultimate hobby is skydiving ! Besides that, whaterver can be close to flying (plane, skydive, paragliding...), riding: MBK, catamaran, rafting, wake board. And some less active but more emotional like attending art exhibitions, going to the movie or the theatre..

To be able to share about it, here are the places where I've been :

Africa: Gabon (lived there), Morocco, Algeria

America: US: Georgia, North Carolina

South America: Brazil

Asia: China, Japon, Korea (lived there), India (lived there), Nepal (lived there), Thailand, Vietnam

Europe: Austria, Belgium, Bulgary, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Swiss, Sweden, The Netherlands, UK and Turkey

PHILOSOPHY

« Live to travel and travel to live »

"Go everywhere, eat everything" (Penny Zine)

Carpe Diem (many quote it, a few try to actually do it)

The more I open myself to the world, the more the world opens itself to me

Always forward, never straight (alternative mindset)

You think adventure is dangerous? Try routine. It's lethal. - Paulo Coelho

The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge (D.J. Boorstin)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love welcoming people in Paris and around its rich suburb, and offer them an opportunity to discover different faces of the city and it's subburb.

So far, I hosted many people and only experienced a lill bit of being hosted by others but it has always been positive experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing coming to my mind is this day I spent with a sādhu (sort of indian priest) on a tiny island over the Ganges river, next to Haridwar (India).
We spent the day silently as he made a silence vow but we shared so many things through the look, the smile, the gesture, the times of prayer.. It's impossible to me to type a description of this experience, but if you come over I'd love to share it with you!

Teach, Learn, Share

Foreign cultures undurstanding, International Business, negotiation, cooking: preferably pastries... I like to share about my experiences abroad.
