I’m Gülan, 32 years old. I’m a psychologist and I work as an online therapist.
I studied at university in Moscow, so I speak Russian fluently. My English isn’t perfect, but it’s not bad either :)

I love dancing (especially Lindy Hop), swimming, sunbathing, watching TV series, and cooking. Preparing breakfast is one of my favorite things to do.

People who know me describe me as friendly, cheerful, and full of positive energy.
For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about a free place to stay — it’s about meeting people, sharing stories, learning from each other, and creating genuine connections.

兴趣

I love dancing, especially Lindy Hop, and listening to music—jazz, swing, and ethnic styles are my favorites. Swimming and spending time in nature are also activities I really enjoy.

Psychology, intercultural exchange, traveling, and meeting new people are very important to me.

Reading books, watching movies and series are some of my other hobbies.

I love listening to jazz music that suits swing dancing perfectly. I also enjoy ethnic music styles. Actually, I like almost all kinds of music except electronic.

My favorite movie is Into the Wild. As for TV series, I really like The Sopranos and have just started watching The Big Bang Theory.

I highly recommend Erich Fromm’s book To Have or To Be? — it’s a must-read!

The most amazing thing in my life is starting therapy training and being able to provide therapy to my clients.
I’ve had the unforgettable experience of going to Murmansk to see the Northern Lights.
I started dancing Lindy Hop, which has become a big passion of mine.
Living in Russia gave me the opportunity to learn Russian :)
