Overview
About Me
I work at port of Antwerp and love traveling. I recently moved to Brussel and am currently exploring new places, cultures, and cities across Europe. Before that, I lived in Istanbul and I enjoy cozy atmospheres and meeting people with different perspectives and life experiences. Maintaining a balance between work and personal life is important to me, and I’m always working on improving my habits and reaching new goals.
I value honesty, mutual respect, and open communication. When I travel, I always aim to leave only positive impressions — whether it’s keeping things clean, respecting house rules, or engaging in friendly conversations.
I’m new to Couchsurfing and don’t have any references yet, but I always strive to be a great guest: respectful of house rules, careful with belongings, and happy to help with small chores. I believe kindness and openness are universal languages that bring people together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, couchsurfing is not just a way to save money on accommodation, but an opportunity to get to know the local culture through people. Each person is a whole world, and I am interested in learning more about other views on life, sharing my experiences and creating unexpected connections.
I had one amazing experience of couchsurfing in Brussel with my brother and now I decided to try to gain some experience on my own 😊

Music, Movies, and Books
I love diverse music that helps me relax, inspires me, and supports me through life, whether it’s techno, rap, or pop.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 22, I left everything behind and embarked on a journey into the unknown. With no support, just my own determination and strength, I started over in a new country. I learned how to stand on my own two feet, face challenges head-on, and cope with loneliness. Along the way, I discovered things about myself: my resilience, my perseverance, and perhaps the realization that survival isn’t just physical — it’s emotional strength too. This journey taught me that even in the toughest moments, we can find our inner power. Today, I’m stronger, more confident, and know that I can handle whatever comes my way.
Teach, Learn, Share
Throughout my life, I’ve believed that true growth comes from sharing what I’ve learned with others, and learning from them in return. Learning is not just about gaining knowledge, but also about adding value to others’ lives. To me, real living means touching the lives of those around you, sharing experiences, and growing together.
