What to say ?

I can be a shy little boy. Or a fun and running around one.
Or even a calm and responsible adult !
It depends.

Give me good atmosphere, good people, good wine and I'm on to talk forever about all kinds of foolishly serious or seriously foolish matters!

I love both sides of the sunrise, waking up early or ending a party night.

And I love nothing more than beeing on the road, on my way to anywhere.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

More about meeting people than being a host or a guest. I think the whole point is about sharing nice moments. Surfing/hosting is secondary, although it usually opens to deeper and longer conversations.

My CS experience so far has been only surfing, gatherings and meeting up with fantastic people!

I never hosted anybody through CS, since I discovered it just before leaving my homeland for the trip of my life.

But I used to host a lot some years ago, in a no-need-for-a-computer way: I used to live in a kind of autonomous community house. We had no computer, no internet, but a lot of space, and the things went on naturally, hosting almost every people coming around from all over Europe and even Africa or Middle East, beeing seasonal workers in grape and apple picking, festival freaks who forgot their way home or any kind of lost in translation people.
This led to incredible experiences and good friendships, that it would be too long to describe here...

And I for sure will host again whenever I settle down, this time using technology that makes CS possible !

Interests

TRAVELING, on foot, by train, on the back of a donkey, by boat or airbaloon, whatever. But slowly...

MOUNTAINS, trekking, snowboarding, or just staring at them endlessly.

MUSIC, but only to listen, I´m not able to play anything.

WINE. And beer, schnapps, rhum, or whatever makes me smarter...

GEOPOLITICS, and thus history and geography, which have not much to do with the previous ones, I have to admit.

YOU and your life. A bit demagogic, isn't it? But nonetheless true.

Books : Random. I read what I find on the road. Many good surprises, sometimes crap, always interesting.

Music : Give me some more !!!

Movies : Possibly not too stupid ones...
