About Me

Hey guys!

I could start my presentation by explaining that I am a 33 yo French guy, that I've worked and traveled all over Australia during 3 years few years ago and now looking for a sponsorship in Australia blablabla but it's not the best description of myself.

Instead, it might be better to explain that I let express my 6 yo inner child ... quite often. Obviously he's acting when I'm drunk (as everyone) but also when I'm not.

Don't get my wrong, I'm clean, I cook for myself and others (I'm actually a not too bad cook). I'll enjoy cooking diners for you while we'll share our epic travel experiences ... I also will be able to ask you why about everything until I'll drive you nuts or advise you to raise a donkey if mowing your lawn bother you (which makes totally sens) :D!

Travel lover, I've visited severals countries (list below), I'm living in New Caledonia at the moment.

Zero waste engaged, I have recently realised how much plastic and general waste are destroing not only our planet but our health and how much easy it is to not using plastic in our daily tasks.

Very social, I like meeting new open minded people and talk about topics I do not know. My best discussion is when we all realise we aren't agree each other but everyone understand the point of view of others (rather than forcing someone to agree to our idea). That's what I call a constructive discussion .

Very active, I love getting out of my comfort zone in any ways : I practice sports depending of my mood and opportunities, I'm into crossfit at the moment (and love it), also diving, trekking, adventure racing (amazing sport). I'm learning to enjoy doing nothing special (which is quite difficult for me but very interesting - live in the present moment is not only a Buddhist theory).

Interested in learning new skills I participate at public meetings about new tech, startups, networking, innovation, ... thanks to meetup app (there is at least one public metting everyday available in Melbourne on that app). That's absolutely amazing how much knowledge you can learn through these meetings

Epicurean, I'm always ok to try everything which seems intersting. Everyone have something great to share with others so let's try and I'll decide later if I like it or not.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because surfing is difficul, technical, exhausting, salty, wavy, ... so I prefer the easy way. Is that answer correct?

Otherwise I am this kind of guy who loves to share experiences and points of view. I've learned so much from discussions that I want to contribute and have a positive impact by sharing my experiences as well

Interests

- Travelling (of course!),
- Any kind of sports : I have practiced or still practice diving, yoga, crossfit, meditation, motorbike. I definitely want to try skydiving and be able to try wingsuit one day : if you practice this sport, let me know! I wanna try! :D
- I am passionnate about development : Personal development, products development, environmental protection development (zero waste, green energy, ...), development development (yep, you read it correctly. Why not trying to develop the development itself?)
- Talk with open minded people
- Drink beers!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am aware at every king of music as long it is listenable!

My references are eclectic from pop-rock music : Muse (love them), Skip the Use (French band), U2, Police, Blink 182, Blur, ...

Also electro music : Electro-House, Tech-House, Dubstep, including DJs as Hardwell, Flume, Chet Faker, Daft Punk, Tiësto, Avicii (RIP) and lots of more

Following by Jazz, Swing, Electro-Swing music, Ska : Caravan Palace, The Cat Empire (I loooooove them), ...

And so many other styles

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling around Australia! It was soooo nice and beautiful!

Doing public announcements for my sponsorship seeking in Melbourne trams 2 years ago. That was stressful, scary, difficul, but absolutely amazing and fulfilling!
