Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore the world, experience other cultures, and make great friends!
ABOUT ME
I'm not very good at describing myself, but I can give it a shot. Other people have described me as bubbley, energetic and optimistic, although I can be shy at first. I'm an inquisitive, adventurous, spontaneous person who loves to explore. I love to learn and experience new things, try new foods and meet new people. I'm an animal lover, and very interested in science and technology. I love history, culture and food, too. Most importantly, I am patient, tolerant, and willing to lend a hand.
PHILOSOPHY
"Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known." - Carl Sagan
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm still finding my bearings in this whole thing. In future, I hope to participate by hosting and traveling the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Although I haven't had a real CouchSurfing experience yet, I did meet some good friends of mine who were visiting California with the help of Couchsurfing. I met them in line for a concert in LA, and they told me they were going to stay with a host they met through this site. Instead I invited them to stay with me, and later they hosted me and my boyfriend at their home in Austria. Hopefully future experiences will go as well as that one did, even if it didn't have to do with the site.

Music, Movies, and Books
I keep an open mind. I have favorite songs from basically every genre of music (soft rock, pop, reggae, jazz, rap, blues, indie, punk, classical, opera, alternative, etc) but really I'm an electronica NUT.
I love to read, especially fantasy and sci-fi. Michael Crichton is my favorite author. I don't think the movies based of of his novels do them justice at all (especially Jurassic Park), but even so it's one of my favorite movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once when I was on vacation in Italy with my family, we decided to go into this huge church. It was fairly crowded inside but much cooler than outdoors. Apparently, among the crowd, there was a large school choir who suddenly burst into song. It reverberated beautifully inside the church and was one of my favorite moments of the trip.
