ABOUT ME
First of all I want to Quote Richard, the man who hosted me in Dumfries (Scotland) through HC:"We picked Gustavo up from the Airport. Gustavo stopped with us for a few days and it was a real pleasure. He is a lovely man and is no trouble to host at all. We had a couple of days out together which was nice and he entertained himself for a couple of days. We enjoyed his company and his card games-watch out,this bloke can play!. I´m a native colombian who enjoys travelling the world and meeting people(already 30 countries,in the majority of cases thank CS and HC). I have founded an Association to help people in Latin America, our first project is building a scool for the indigenes "Wayuus" in "Punta Gallinas" - Colombia.

I´m from Cali Colombia, I am living in Germany since 1985. I have played football for many years,once versus Franz Beckenbauer. Now is Cycling my favorite sport.
Follow countries I had travelled on my bicycle: France - Spain("Camino de Santiago") , Portugal, Holland, Poland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
My spirit is present when I am in the nature.,
My next project is to ride by bicycle from Argentina to Mexico, for that I am looking for a sponsor(many visits at my blog help me), and perhaps female companion.

I enjoy know People and CS or HC offer this possibility; as a traveller myself it´s wonderful to show hospitality. I would like to share my passion for travel wiht "the unknown".

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS is a big family. Trough CS I had knew very interesting People. I had yet seem more than 30 countries, it was often thanks CS and HC that I did this.

The most dangerous thing that I had lived : a paramilitary group kidnapped me in Colombia because thy thought I´ll spy for the Guerrilla.
I had survived five big accidents (car,motorbyke,bicycle).
