Mr.Gunduz Aliyev has 14 years work experience. He has higher education . Graduated from Azerbaijan State Economic University, Masters’ degree, MBA (Master of Business Administration) program, Marketing Faculty.
He is one of the founders of “G&I Consulting Group” LLC and is currently working as a Deputy Director in the same company. At the same time he occupied some positions as Consultant/Trainer/Assessor . He enforces training and consulting services for product development, the preparation of project proposals, exploring the market, offering different services to the customers, attracting new customers to the work.
He has worked as a Trainer, Presenter , Business Development Services Specialist in more than 10 projects on social development and expansion of economic opportunities funded by BP (British Petroleum) Exploration (Caspian Sea) ltd. and Co-Ventures and carried out by local and international NGOs since 2003. (”Community Investment Program”, “Economic Capacity Building for Youth”, “Developing Economic Opportunities and Community Professionalism Development”, “Youth Employment and Economic Opportunities Expansion along Baku Corridor”, “Effective Usage of Energy Resources by Communities and Improvement of Access to Alternative Energy Sources - Energy Bus” and “Community Social Program”). Therewith, he worked as a Trainer/ Consultant in the field of Community Development, business establishment , development, business plan development, Marketing, personal skill development and tax liability on the “Youth Employment Network Development” project of World Vision International - Azerbaijan and “Community Development Program” project of US Agency for International Development .
He worked as “AGBank” Open Joint-Stock Company Specialist on business loans more than 2 years. The main activity was to attract business customers , implementing business analysis, providing credit and the work of continues monitoring.
He has been an active participant of more than 100 trainings, courses and seminars organized by various local and international companies and awarded with diplomas and certificates. He has professional knowledge and skills on conducting more than 40 trainings with different topics. In particular, he has extensive experience on conducting trainings in the field of Management, Business establishment, development, business plan development, Marketing, developing personal skills, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).
He is currently working as HSSE Trainer/Assessor (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) in Contractor Company Azfen JV “Shah Deniz 2 Onshore Terminal Facility Construction Work Project" carried out under BP authorization . He instructed HSE requirements to approximatedly more than 10 thousand employees who are involved in project.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is so interesting for me. Because I like to meet people, new friends, different cultures, different contries and a lot of interesting places. I am keen on to explore various new places and sighseeings, because I am interested in new cultures and traditions of people.
I would like to improve my outlook and that's why visiting different foreign countries is very essential for me. Besides that, another importance for me is improving other languages taht I know and practice those languages frequently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have good experince on giving speeches in front of many people and help them to understand the topics . Giving presentations is very useful for me and I have enough experience on it. Several times that I presented any topic in front of people, I receive lots of applauses and positive feedback.
