About Me

Hi, my name is Gunho.
I'm your future couchsurf guest/host.
I am a chill, relaxed and easy going person who likes to eat good food and drink beer with some good friends. I enjoy going to parties, movies, nature and sports bars.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on Couchsurfing for mostly culture exchange reason. What better way is there than couchsurfing to experience new culture and make good friends?
I believe couchsurfing is a great way of experiencing the culture and it's not just for the travelers, hosts could learn about the travelers' culture and learn something new about the world.

Interests

My biggest interests are seeing the world, meeting new people and enjoying life.
I was born and raised in Seoul, Korea, lived in Sydney, Australia for a year and Dornbirn and Vienna, Austria in total 8 months.
I traveled over 20 countries probably around 25 and wanting to travel more.
At the moment, learning German is also a huge interest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Queen is definitely my favorite band. A big fan. I love singing Queen songs in karaoke.
I don't really have any preferences when it comes to movies as I just enjoy all of them. This might imply that I have a shitty taste in movies as I also like Adam Sandler movies. Sometimes I just check out movies that people say they are awful and end up liking those movies. I hope this doesn't say anything bad about my personality haha.
I adored Sherlock Holmes books as a kid. But as I have grown up my taste in book changed to something less exciting. I really liked Norwegian forest by Murakami Haruki. But I can't say I have a favorite book yet, I'm gonna have to read more books to have a favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was serving in the Army, we had a friendship week which involves not much training but some concerts and talent shows. My friend and I participated in a talent show where I sang and my friend rapped. I don't think I was ever that nervous in my life, I was shaking and regretting the decision to participate. But in the end, I had an amazing time on the stage and people loved our performance. Felt like Beattles when I exited the stage.

Teach, Learn, Share

If anyone out there could teach me the ways to permanent peaceful satisfactory life, I will serve you as my life guru.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I can share with unchallenged confidence is the greatest friendship the world hasn't seen before.
I could go on about how I can be so flamboyant about it but I will leave it to mystery for now.
