About Me
Hello my name is Gunnar Brittany from Louisville Kentucky, USA. I play in a band called Jet Black Orchid along with my four other brothers Rio, Jaggar, and Rommel Brittany. Having played music together for around eight years, we have done some regional touring around the US, as well as played extensively in our hometown. We now wish to travel abroad in order to connect with new people, experience and learn from different cultures, and share our love of music along the way. Travel has always been a way of life for me, it is in my blood. Growing up in a large family we moved around from state to state throughout the years, international travel, however, has always been a large dream of mine. After completing a semester of college, I decided to finally act upon these world gallivanting aspirations of mine. I plan to document my journeys in the form of an ongoing independently produced online documentary film series. A project capturing the places I go and the people I meet. Raised in a very adaptable and creative environment, my Mother is an artist, my father a carpenter.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to name, really!
Film: I absolutely adore everything about film, not just as entertainment, but as an art form as well, old/new movies, the production and history of film too. I could talk film to no end!
Books: Recently I find myself reading a lot of Lovecraft, H.G Wells, classic science fiction stuff, although good writing is good reading no matter what the genre is, fiction or non-fiction, I'd read it all if I could.
Music: Music has always been a way of life for me, it's something that seems almost intrinsic to who I am at this point. Rock, pop, jazz, blues, classical, hip-hop, whatever, I'm down.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Toured the US playing music with my brothers.
Teach, Learn, Share
Some of the best fun I can have is in the midst of stimulating conversion. Art, philosophy, history, film, absurdity, whatever.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My band and I offer hosts our full range of musical abilities, if need be, including (but not limited to) preforming, jamming, teaching, and learning songs, etc. Along with the music, I personally have been working as an illustrator and graphic designer for several years now, and as such I am well versed in computers, art, and design (as well as photography and video production). Rio is very knowledgeable in the field of electronics and circuity. Jaggar and Rommel are both crafty and good with their hands as well. We are very neat people, we clean up after ourselves, not loud or obnoxious, and we are accustomed to living modestly and ruggedly (don’t mind sleeping on a couch or floor).
