About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Ultimately, it all comes down to a very basic yet effective mission: how can I make the world a better place?
ABOUT ME
What can I say? I've had this profile for a while now but never really felt the need to use it as I always went places and hit up friends I've made in NYC (a place where you meet virtually anybody from anywhere, after all), but since I love meeting new people I deem it wise to be more active here.
I try and succeed in being a doe-eyed, spontaneous, puppy-loving, charming, confident, low-maintenance, somewhat naive, creative and ambitious young chap.
I try and fail in being a pessimistic, realistic, well-organized, easily dissatisfied, technologically savvy and money-oriented brunette.
My main aspirations lie in the field of acting for which I moved to NYC at age 18 filled with dreams and hopes. I took some time to be back with family and friends in Holland this year which also gives me the opportunity to travel.
One day I hope to create a business which will drastically shift the paradigms of global education.
I am easily satisfied when it comes to accommodations, will always abide by your house-rules and love being a listening ear to your troubles or a partnering voice of reason in a healthy political debate.
Feel free to check out my website for more professionally taken pictures and a fancy video of me doing what I love most :)
PHILOSOPHY
At the moment I believe learning is the main focus in life. It doesn't really matter whether if you do that as a mentor or a pupil.
I try to live with full awareness without judgement.

I climbed a tree when I was seven and saw my mom nearly fainting when she discovered I was up 25 feet.
I performed at a 500 seat theater and saw the audience giving a standing ovation after an ending scene monologue
I sky-dived over 200 times in my dreams
I've sailed and survived a storm when I fell in the water and lightning struck close to me
I've seen my Yoshi character get the Party Star in Mario Party 4
Teach, Learn, Share
Wow, I'm just reading the mission of Couchsurfing University, something I didn't know anything about. Sweet! Anyways, yeah, I love meeting people who share my love of learning. I know a thing or two about the craft of acting since that's what I studied and will pretend to know much more about pretty much everything else if need be.
