About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world with an open mind and an adventurous spirit

ABOUT ME

It´s quite simple really. I love traveling and meeting travelers. From May of 2012 until July 2013 I traveled around the world with a backpack and through that experience I really got to know how brilliant the Couchsurfing community and it´s members really are. Now back in Iceland I´m happy to give back, either by hosting or helping out in any way.

My apartment is located in a great neighborhood in Reykjavik with grocery store, bakery and an ice cream shop right next door. Even in winter time us Icelanders love our ice cream :) I´m also about five minute walk from Reykjavik´s largest swimming pool and fitness center. There is also a bus stop right outside my door where you can catch a bus going to the center of Reykjavik. It´s about a 5-8 minute ride.

I´m quite laid back and easy to get along with and if I´m available I would love to join you on a walk around Reykjavik, grabbing a pint or even an excursion outside or Reykjavik to check out some of this amazing nature that we are so lucky to have.

So feel free to write and ask about anything. If I can host you I will and if I can´t answer your questions I´ll google them and then act all knowledgeable and smart :)

And if you enjoyed your stay and have something nice or fun to say then please sign my CS guestbook. That would make me quite happy :)

PHILOSOPHY

I can totally jump that......

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I´m a bit shy I have´t sent too many requests or stayed on many couches but what I´ve loved about CS is that when I´ve arrived in a bigger city, or even small city, I can check if there are any activities or events where Couchsurfers get together to socialize and do cool things. Picnics, BBQ´s, pub crawls, Salsa dance lessons, hiking trips and group bungy jumps are some of the fun and cool things that I´ve enjoyed with the Couchsurfing community during my travels.

Interests

I love sports and mostly football (soccer) and I´m a passionate and dedicated Liverpool fan.
I also love the outdoors and spend a lot of my time biking and hiking hills and mountains.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During the eruption in Eyjafjallajökull (you know....the one that closed the airspace in Europe for two weeks or so) me and a friend hiked up to the eruption and witnessed nature´s awesomeness up close and personal. The smell, heat and feeling the pressure waves knocking you around are something I won´d easily forget.
