ABOUT ME

I started couchsurfing during my travels through Australia 2014/2015. I am an open-minded and sociable person.
I am 23years old and study teaching (English and Geography) in Germany. I did an internship as a teaching assistant in Brisbane and really enjoyed it. I am certain that teaching is the thing I want to do in the future.
2009/2010 I spent 10 months in the United States (close to Seattle) and went to High School there.

I love meeting new people and getting to know other cultures.

Interests

I am really interested in dancing, listening to different kinds of music and any out door adventures (4WDing, canoeing, camping). I am happy to go out to dance and drink as well. I like reading and watching movies as well, but the best way of spending my time is sitting by the ocean or a river and watch the water... I like listening to people's stories and experiences and I like to create my own future stories out of it. :) you just learn from experiences...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spontaneously stayed on Moreton Island for Christmas and went 4WDing with a local. probably the most amazing experience I had in Oz (so far - hopefully many more to come;) )
plus climbing up a (dried out) waterfall, yes I admit it wasn't a big one, and it's not a big deal to anyone else, but standing up there, shaking, because I was freaking scared of the height, it was hot and I didn't have any water was the most amazing feeling of freedom I ever had. I managed something that I didn't think I was capable of and I had a beautiful view over a rainforest, full of different shades of green... a feeling that you have to experience! :) and it will be different for everyone! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am really interested in different ways of living and happy to share mine. I will be talkative at times and definitely not using you as a hotel, but happy to be a friend. PLUS once I'm back to Munich, YOU will have a friend in Munich that is really excited to show you around that beautiful city! :)
