Hey there, my name is Guo Zixun Nicolas. Originally Chinese and now a Singaporean PR . I graduated from NTU in 2020 with a degree in Electrical engineering. Currently I’m a researcher in AI+Music.

Yes, you hear that right AI+ music. I am passionate about music since young and I have been fatansizing to become a musician when I was in secondary school. I’m a also a techie and hence I’ve decided to merge both of my interests and pursue a career in AI+music.

Traveling is also a big part of my life. I backpacked through Europe in 2018 and currently exploring the Southeast Asian countries. I enjoy meeting new people from different cultures especially in this chaotic world. I always believe in humanity!

Music wise, i enjoy listening to jazz (mostly bebop like Charlie Parker, Joe pass) and classical music (Bach is my favorite). I also love rock n roll music.

Hiking on Kejrag (Norway) on a super foggy, windy and rainy day with 3 h sleep the day before.
Randomly performed on the street of Bergen, Norway, Irkutsk, Russia.
Played guitar together with Tommy Emmanuel.
Played guitar in the Esplanade (the national theatre of Singapore).

Language: I can teach you Chinese which is my mother tongue. I can also teach you English.
Music: if you want to pickup some guitar techniques, let me know!! We could also jam a bit. If you are interested, I can also share some songs with you that I have written.
Tech: alright, this might be geeky but I’m happy to share with you some information about technologies (AI, computer science).
