My current mission is to enjoy the sunshine, watch the butterflies, listen to ambient music ... while going about my daily tasks of living, working, enjoying.

ABOUT ME

Well traveled, somewhat well read and always ready for an adventure. I am a 36 year old male who works as a financial sector consultant. I live in Gurgaon, a suburb of Delhi and I like to host guests.

Sometimes I like to cook while listening to opera. Othertimes I can be found at a headbangers bash. Exploring all flavours of life is my passion. Most of all ... I love to laugh.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

You can tell a lot about a person by his / her attitude to a stranger ... whom he / she may not ever meet again. If they are warm and generous without any effort or thought ... than that is what they truly are. By interacting with others you see the true you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Bruno and his wife stayed a few days with me recently, my first guests. It was fun and we really spent a lot of time chit chatting. Highlight was a dinner party for Bruno to meet other local CS members.

Amanda and Yijuro from Japan surfed at my place for a few days ... and we had a lot of good meals and laughs.

Quentin from France also stayed with me for a week. We went to a jazz performance and attended an Indian classical music concert ... amongst other things. Introduced him to other CS'ers in Delhi so that he has a wide range of friends for his 6 month stay in India.

I have not had the change to avail of anyone's hospitality yet but I have meet many people through CS and enjoyed many good moments with them. Looking forward to many more such experiences ...

Music, going out, intense movies, trying new types of cuisine, exploring new destinations ... and most of all people watching.

I like to interact with people, I am equally comfortable in a philosophical / religious dialogue or debate on monetary policies or discussions about managing diverse employee teams.
