Overview
About Me
I am the executive manager of an independent news organization and a journalist. It is quite a challenge to live in this chaos we call home, Istanbul. But is is a fantastic chaos... It is rather a busy life that we are leading but I like having long conversations in a quiet environment.
I generally enjoy conversations on arts, culture, politics, humanity, civilization and I have a big musical archive that I carry around.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have hosted a few people and been using couchsurfing happily the in the past decade. It is a pleasure to meet people...
I have been surfing and hosting for some years now and it never stops being fun. Previously, I had a wonderful time in Vienna, London, Paris, Dortmund, Bremen, Hamburg etc... Plus in Nice, I have been to very nice events due to CS meetings, met unbelievably nice people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Looking at the stormy Aegean sea from the eyes of Ancient Gods! Was terrifyingly awesome staying under all the thunder bolts...
Teach, Learn, Share
So far so good with the wonderful couchsurfing! I have experienced depths of the cultures that I would otherwise never be aware of... seeing the "home-environment" of the country that I am visiting definitely adds a lot to the taste of travel... Feels so right not to fall into "tourist-attractions" only...
