Hello world!! My name is Rue. This last year has been truly a learning experience in many ways. I have learned that nothing is mine, nothing is forever, and to let life happen on its own, rather than trying to mold it. I am now in search of my inner happyness, and peace. Met the luv of my life at burning man in 2014! She showed up at my camp with nothing going the way it should, and still had the most amazing smile on her beautiful lips! Her inner light and ways of life inspired me to examine what was important to me and made me ask the question to my self, am I living the way I want to luv!? Life is luv! So we should all luv as a career! Then we will all luv our lifes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing to me is an incredible idea!! Life has changed now that there are options like this. If we have options and opportunity's such as a network of like minded people all opening there homes and lifes to eachother, why wouldn't we go and see for ourselfs! I have been stuck... Trapped... Both mentally and physically... Web sites and groups such as couch surfing open up the world to us, we are only limited by the ends of our own imagination's

Interests

The things that interest me are the most basic joys brought to us by mother nature and life her self! My favorite thing to do is go hiking with my dogs!! Lots of hills and trails to explore, and my furry best friends are always more than ready to go on a journey! True water baby here... Anything to do with swimming surfing floating paddling or just chillin by the water is always ok with me. The ocean calms my soul.

Music, Movies, and Books

I luv a good film!! I enjoy being able to emurse my self into the dialog and lifes of the characters and there situation's. Favorite movies include, but not limited to- across the universe, Swiss family Robinson , and of course capital Ron!!

I have a hard time finishing books... I think it is because I have lived a life that is constantly on the go. Now that I am changing that about myself and slowing down a lot of my ways, I am finding that novels bring me a lot of joy. Being able to use just my imagination to play the story line out in my head. Let my mind fill in the background and let the characters personalities decide for me individually what they look like!

Poetry is what I truly luv to read! I know it sounds like a dumb line cheesy guys use... But in all honesty, poetry can make you feel alive! It can tare your emotions wide open and expose the venerability that we hide from the world! It can connect us to others through emotions we all have but cant all express! Poetry has inspired creation and change in my life, the words written by others we will never meet, successfully reached into my mind and soul, to pull out doubt and fear as well as introduce inspiration and smiles to cheeks, tears of joy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Im not sure what to wright here... My friends and family would all have a lot to wright in this column about me. The times and instances in which they have considered amazing things that I have done are plenty. I think of those times not as incredible, but as a responsibility to do your best to help the ones you luv, and sometimes the ones you don't even know. That's what makes us human beings! Natural desire to help others. I don't like talking about me very much...
