About Me

Solo Canadian traveler visiting Europe for the first time. Born in Vancouver, then drove across Canada to Montréal (6 days), most recently lived in Toronto. Montréal is easily my favourite, they know how to simply enjoy the little things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Like listening to Black Keys, Little Dragon, Ween, Gorillaz, but really anything.

Reading everything Neil Gaiman, I Am Legend is an excellent book, and the Name of the Wind might be my all time favourite.

The Blues Brothers (1980), and Snatch are some of my favorite movies. Hayao Miyazaki has some good stuff as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting the DMZ on the North Korean border. North Korea looks beautiful from the border, like something out of Lord of the Rings. Also visible from the border is a pretty big propaganda city, so no one lives in it, it's simply there to be seen. The north also tried to dig an invasion tunnel into the south after the Korean war ended, but were thwarted. I was able to go into said tunnel, which was remarkable.

What I Can Share with Hosts
