ABOUT ME
The name's Gus! I grew up in Sydney, finished high school in 2012, came to Europe for a holiday...but now I have been hitch hiking around Europe and working in England for almost a year now. That's about all I have to say without embellishing myself!
PHILOSOPHY
The plan is that they're is no plan, I love to adventure, and it isn't an adventure if you don't get caught in a sticky situation every now and then. I believe that life is better enjoyed with my own two eyes than through the lens of a camera, and that I'll never truly know anything, so don't worry about it and enjoy the absurdity that is life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'd love to use this as a place to break the ice and meet some like minded people in the places I visit where I might not know anybody at all, which can be hard.
Hostels are fun and I've made some lifelong friends in them, but you're meeting other tourists, I hope I can use couch surfing to get to meetups in cities and meet some locals!
When I eventually go home, I'd love to host...

I love being outdoors, the wilderness, travelling, I'm trying to learn the harmonica, hitchhiking and reading have become two of my favorite pastimes.

Books: science fiction, reflective books, Love to read!!! Authors like Isaac Asimov, Aldous Huxley, Arthur C. Clarke, Robin Hobb, Larry Niven.....

Music: Most of everything, I love discovering new genres and new artists, but at the time of writing this I've been really enjoying a lot of psychedelic rock, balkan beats, psytrance....Some music that I don't believe I'll ever stop loving is: tool, title fight, Angus and Julia stone, beastie boys, MF Doom, pink floyd, tame impala, mgmt...
