About Me

I'm 29 years old. I'm originally from Mexico, but have been living in California for the past 7 years, and I'm loving it.

I grew up int he border between Mexico and Texas. I went to school in Texas, and this is where I learned english as a 2nd language since I was 5 years old.

I consider myself to be sometimes fun, loyal, open-mined, goofy, and a really good listener. And I love questions, so if there's anything you want to know about me, just ask away.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the experiences I've had meeting people (although sometimes not really in person) from all over the world. It's amazing to see the differences in culture and ways of thinking but it's something that has always grabbed my attention.

I have always tried to be a good host anytime my friends or anyone comes over. I'm the kind of person who really enjoys doing whatever is in their power to make you feel welcome and to make you feel at home.

And maybe it will also give me the chance to meet people in case I ever have the time (I hope) to travel across the country or the world!

Interests

I have a thing for binging on shows. I love movies. All my favorite movies are from before I was even born, and include All About Eve, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Casablanca, The Wizard of Oz, Sunset Boulevard, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, and much more. And like any other human being, I love music. Especially 90's alternative rock. I love meeting new people, and I love playing board games, because I'm very, very competitive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Anything that provides me with a sense of accomplishment I think is amazing whether it is small or big.

I was very lucky to be part of an experience called Un Techo Para Mi Pais.
And it completely changed my life and how I see things.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach – I will teach you what is like to meet somebody who always has a story to tell.

Learn – Hopefully I will learn about different cultures, or simply different routines and ways to see the world in every day life.

Share – I will share everything I learn with people I meet in the future.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with them my experiences and I can share with them stories about the stuff I've done in my life. Anyone who knows me knows how much I enjoy talking and never shut up. Hahaha there's never a dull moment with me around, as egotistical as that sounds. I try my best to make everyday experiences memorable.
