ABOUT ME

What probably needs to be said first is that I am a father of two kids that are 1,5 and 3 years old. Pretty much my whole existence evolves around them and I love to see them grow and learn stuff which is also what my life from a more egoistic point of view is all about.

It might sound a bit dull but I really like the everyday life. That doesn't mean I don't like a little adventure from time to time, in fact I find the everyday life an adventure in itself. A friend of mine who also have kids once said: "Travelling with kids isn't travelling - it's just logistics". I almost completely agree with him except from the slightly negative tone in "'just' logistics". Logistics is the beauty of travelling, isn't it? I find it so interesting to find out how the public transport system in a foreign city works, what the playgrounds are like and to see how people get to work for example.

In fact - life itself is 'just logistics', really. That's why I am into bikes and sharing economy, I guess. Not primarily for environmental reasons but rather for the spatial efficiency they bring.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm getting more and more convinced that the best things in life are free. I've also realized that everything gets kind of boring as soon as you start making money on it. I think that a favor should not be paid back but passed on. Just like couchsurfing works!
