Two Swedish guys, Gustav Haggren and Robert Johnson and two guitars, trying o get coast to coast through America, hitchhiking and playing music.

ABOUT ME

My name is Gustav Haggren and I just got to NYC for the 3rd time in my life. I brought along my good friend Robert Johnson from Stockholm, Sweden.

Together we are going to travel through the USA, playing music. It's not a real tour tour but traveling with and through our music, meet new people and chase the experience. Back home in Sweden we have a band called Case Conrad and we just released our debut album that we will bring along. You can listen here: www.caseconrad.com

Our plan is to hit the West Coast before the end of 2010, stay there through January before flying from LA to Mexico City on Jan 31st.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel a lot and back home in Sweden I am always trying to get people shows when they are traveling through Scandinavia. I also make sure that people get a place to stay if they come and so on. I normally live in Malmö and Robert is living in Stockholm. So what we can do is to help people find places to stay in Sweden in different cities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a musician, the couch is always a close friend. I've met so many people that way. There are so many stories. Also when people have some to visit me in sweden. Sometimes I haven't had my own place and my parents or friends have helped out. It always works out somehow.
