About Me
Hello people,, I’m new to all of this couschsurfing thing but can’t wait to start.
I’m a Brazilian kid that lived a very normal life until when, at 16, I got the chance to live for a year with host families in Canada.
Being forced to spend time by myself thinking and having to exchange with a culture that’s very different from my own started something new in my life. Realising that I knew NOTHING about this infinite world made me start searching for answers.
From that moment on, gathering knowledge from experience grew constantly on me. For a couple of years, seeing and observing was enough, but it came the time when I finally realised where the real exchange comes from: experiencing people.
So this is what I‘ve been doing since and this is what I’m doing here at Couchsurfing.
This year (mid 2019) I finally got the chance to live abroad again, so I’ve been in Metz (France) for the last couple of months, as an exchange student (I do electrical engeneering).
Other than that, I’m very open and respectful to people’s ways of living and decisions. In fact, I love to get to know the details about that topic.
I obsiously love talking to people, but I deal well with silence too. I’m a good listener, cause that’s how I get to really learn what I want.
I’m always up for helping with whatever needed, and I try my best to disturb the least as I can as a guest.
Hope I see you soon!!!

Music, Movies, and Books
I've been in love with rock n roll for a while now. Started from all that Indie rock stuff then I just went everywere: from 50's rockabilly to the Beatles, then punk rock, surf rock, garage rock, country, psychedelic rock, and so on
Meeting punk and garage rock certainly changed things for me though, it's usually what comes out when I write music.
Lately I've been feeling all that digital music too; like Trap, techno and all. But mainly House.
For movies, I'm all about the ones that focus on the characters rather than on the plot itself: Trainspotting, Birdman, Boyhood and Requiem for a Dream really send shivers down my spine.
Now for books, It was certainly remarkable reading The Catcher in the Rye.
As of recently, it was great to learn French enough to be able to read "L'étranger" (by Albert Camus) in its original language. Great stuff!!
But If I'm really gonna talk about favorites, I have to say Jack Kerouac really messed up with my head; literally changed my life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I went camping by myself in this wonderful and preserved island in the South of Brazil called "Ilha do Mel (Honey Island)". It was unreal spending 4 days listening to nothing more than the sound of my thoughts and the sea.
Going into the sea on the north of Denmark during winter was pretty crazy too, but not as pleasurable: got sick the next day XD
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm all about that language exchange so I'm always looking forward to teach whatever I could offer from the languages I know; and obviously I'm always trying to learn some words too!
I'm very much into learning general culture from wherever I go; that meaning details of the lifestyle and behavior of people, local food habits, national and local history, and so on.
SInce I know (poorly) a little bit of music, I'm always open to share what I know.
What I Can Share with Hosts

Other than that, I’d love to help you with whatever I can!!
