About Me

Hey there!
I'm a psychologist, I was born in Sao Paulo and already lived in Florianópolis during my graduation. I love travelling and, most of all, meeting new people from different cultures. I like games, movies, theatres, museums and parks. And cooffee. A lot of coffee. And beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love this environment - people willing to meet new people and new cultures, it takes interest and courage to look into the unkown. I think it's an essencial part of any trip to meet the people who live in the city you're visiting because locals can always show you around better than a printed guide and they're usually nicer. Also, if you're traveling alone, company is very much appreciated.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: First Aid Kit, Florence + The Machine, Lana del Rey, Adele, Regina Spektor, Antony, Belle and Sebastian, Club 8, Frank and Nancy Sinatra, some folk music, some operas every now and then, a little bit of blues, a little bit of pop music, and a lot of old songs.

Movies: Dramas in general. Some action movies on weekends. I love Miyazaki and Lars von Trier.

Books: Most of them are about psychology :/ guess I should read more. Or maybe Game of Thrones took too much time of my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is a though question. Next.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: how to make great caipirinhas, brigadeiro, lasagna, how to beat your enemies on Mortal Kombat, how to laugh at yourself and how to be cool about almost anything.

Learn: I hope I can continuously open my mind to new cultures, traditions, politics and to grow as a person as I meet new people.

Share: histories about our lives while having a drink :)
