About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be kind.
ABOUT ME
One of my favorite characterizations is in a novel called Tortilla Flat where a bum gets described as "that lover of the humanities". I love engaging conversations and brilliant spontaneous moments of fraternity-haha.
I attended film school in San Francisco, CA and worked in that milieu for about six years. I've recently returned to Santa Lucía, Honduras, my hometown and I am working with NGOs on small documentaries.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy the present. Be good. Appreciate moments. Cherish family & friends. Love people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We've hosted quite a bit of folks in our previous apartment in San Francisco, CA. It was memorable. Additionally, I went on several adventures that came to be through the site; met some fine folks, made friends, and had exciting days.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Lively times. The bulk of my experience has been as a host, but have had the wonderful opportunity to travel and stay with Couchsurfers- always positive.

Music, Movies, and Books
A whole bunch. At this moment, I'm into Doc Watson. If you have a minute listen to his music.
I listen to some form of Grateful Dead mostly every day.
Tolstoy's writing is like a lighthouse on a stormy, foggy night. I'm currently reading Claude Levi Strauss and loving it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time, driving along a desert road in the Navajo Nation in Nothern Arizona. We had no prospects, plan or idea where to sleep that night. We were fortunate to meet a lovely Navajo lady in Monument Valley and even more lucky to have slept in a hogan in her backyard for the next two nights. The stars are very bright in the deserts.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to share ideas and music knowledge. These days, I am learning Delta Blues on the guitar. Swapping a song or two would make me happy. As a cinematographer, I can share photography and imaging tips and help your pictures and videos look nicer. I've spent countless happy hours gardening and am looking for more!!
