About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling around the globe.

ABOUT ME

I'm a curious independent traveller that likes to meet people and is interested in history, politics and arts. I receive lots of travellers back home, in Rio, and hope to find places to stay in my round-the-world trip.

PHILOSOPHY

Anything that doesn't go against human rights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've already received lots of people at my house, but only recently started using CS. It's been a great experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've already lived with a british family in New Zealand and I had, at my house, friends from Argentina, Italy, Lebanon, France, Portugal and Spain. So, I quite like hosting people and sharing stories.

Interests

Music, cello, reading, movies, arts, culture, webdesign, politics, human rights.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: love experimental stuff, but also rock (love Radiohead). Also like music from all around the world, specially from the Balkans, India and, of course, Brazil.

Books: Saramago and Julio Cortazar are the best writers I know and now I'm into Greek mythology.

Movies: Fellini, Michel Gondry, Pedro Almodovar, Lars Von Trier...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Start to play cello. Learn some languages. Travel to lots of places. Quitting job to travel the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach English, Portuguese and Spanish. Would like to learn Mandarin and practice Russian also.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A nice room in the suburb of Santa Teresa which is central in Rio. It has wifi, kitchen, laundry, a separate toilet for the guest and it's quite comfortable.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Montenegro, Mozambique, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Portugal, Russian Federation, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, Somalia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Timor-Leste (East Timor), Turkey, United Kingdom, Uruguay
