About Me

My name is Gustavo Marquez

I am a boy who emigrated from Venezuela to Mexico City. I am currently enjoying this city and eating lots of tasty food that the city offers me. My idea when traveling is to feel that I am part of the city that I visit. If I go to a place where everyone moves by bike, I prefer to do it this way. And I think that's what makes traveling a unique experience, getting to know the people who live there and enjoying their space.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always used AirBnB but I wanted to try out how Couchsurfing works. I am looking for a way to know more the city that I visit when being in contact with those who live there,

Interests

I love everything visual art has to do.

Years ago I had a project called camionetica.com where I was looking to show all the street art that was done in my country.

I also love comedy and I spent some time working on humorous web content.

Now I work in Mexico as editor in chief of Somos Cultura.mx
