Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

by being open-minded to other views and by sharing my own ideas with respect and patience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Februry 24th was my first couchsurfing day and was just as I imagined it. I stayed with my new friend Idmoussa Yassine in a town near Marrakech. His mom makes the best bread I have ever had and also the best tea or as she called it, Morrocan whisky. I only surfed for a day, but would have loved to stay in their wave for at least a week.

Interests

Theatre, dancing and playing sports. I've been making myself read more often... You gotta read a ton if you want to be an artist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Rabat, Morocco a girl was walking with her mom and I had a plastic water bottle with me. There weren't many people around; I think there was a beggar hidding in the shade under a bridge and we were near the walls of the city. The girl walked up to me and asked me if she could have some of my water. I froze. And the next second I gave her some of my water to drink.

My best experience by far was staying with my Moroccan friend Yassine Moussa thanks to this fantastic site. Unfortunately, I was only able to stay with him one night. His family shared EVERYTHING with me. I felt somehow we were related. And I had only met them for a couple of hours. His mom is an amazing woman and a fantastic cook! His brothers are full of spirit and happiness, like Yassine.
