Born and raised in London, with a few years in Brighton for University. Back working in London but looking to quit my job and explore the world.

Love cooking and food - am terrible at drawing, singing, poetry etc but transforming and combining individual ingredients into delicious (normally huge!) meals gives me an outlet to be creative.
Interested in all sports, both playing and watching, currently trying to learn to play tennis.

Currently trying to be more spontaneous. One of my favourite travel experiences was driving through the south of Spain with friends and stopping for a quick half hour break in a seemingly random car park. We decided to go for a short walk down a path and found a hill. Upon climbing the hill we found the most beautiful canyon, which we had to go on to explore. This continued for hours and hours, walking through rope bridges, waterfalls, climbing up and down unmarked paths, over and under boulders and rocks, by streams and rivers...and finished in a small traditional Spanish restaurant with me trying gazpacho for the first time (incredibly tasty!). This taught me that you don't always need to plan everything in advance to have amazing adventures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The world is a big and beautiful place. My ambition is to see, hear, taste, feel, explore and experience as much of it as possible.

Much more than seeing the sights of the world, I want to meet the people of the world. Hear about, and try to experience, other cultures and see how people around the world live their lives.

Love anything by Tarantino (even Death Proof!), classics like Shawshank Redemption, Donnie Darko, Marvel movies, but more into my TV shows. Always up for some comedy - Arrested Development, Community, Rick and Morty, It's Always Sunny and others. Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones (obviously!), Hannibal, Firefly, Fargo, Mad Men and so much more...anything good!

Normally read nerdy books on behavioural economics and happiness (Predictably Irrational, The Happiness Hypothesis) or books on cooking - absolutely love The Food Lab.
When reading fiction I like Stephen King, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rafting down the Colorado River in mid-August heat, and jumping in and swimming with beavers!

While it may not be immediately obvious I have a positive mindset and can almost always see the silver lining of any situation.

Can share my love of cooking! Not an expert, but know my way around a kitchen and love to cook for people.
