I'm Guy, I live in Tel Aviv. I'm a friendly person, I love meeting people and having fun.
My greatest passions are people, science and music. I also love animals, and usually they love me back :) I enjoy talking about Israeli history/culture/politics, you can feel free to ask me anything. I would also love to learn more about the place you are coming from, if you would like to share.

We can go see the view of Tel Aviv from the Google offices (33rd floor), it's quite nice :)
I also like going to the market and to the beach - they're always worth a visit, even in the winter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the excitement of meeting new people, and seeing their city (or mine) from a different angle. I feel that getting to know people from other backgrounds than my own always opens my eyes to new perspectives. Everyone's life story seems normal to them, but is usually fascinating for others.

Above all, I like the connections and experiences that are created with people I meet on CS. Something about this community just works, and it's awesome.

Music, Movies, and Books

I play the piano, classical music is definitely a soft spot for me. I started playing the guitar, recently, but very basic stuff. If you like singing or playing piano/guitar we can have some musical fun together.

I read a couple of good books lately - I guess they can be considered popular science. Sometimes nature is really more insane than our wildest imagination:
- The Magic of Reality: How We Know What's Really True (by Richard Dawkins)
- Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality (Eliezer Yudkowsky) - a fun fan-fiction on Harry Potter for science geeks.
