Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and be shown the locals culture, when I was in Asia traveling alone I stayed in lots of one bedroom guesthouses which was a very hard way to meet people, do not want to do that again! I've done a lot of hitchhiking, most people who seem to pick me up are interesting people with stories of travels and often theres some side mission on the way to the destination. I'm guessing Couch surfing is similar!
