About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to make some friends, learn what they're about and have some fun with it.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Los Angeles, California. I graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) and moved to New York City at the end of September 2009. I currently work for a technology company as a technician and also teach how to use the company's products.

I am a native speaker of English and Spanish. I have studied French to an intermediate level and although I've been in France for a year, my language skills are still not that great. Especially since I last truly lived there since 2008.

I am laid back and "chill" about a lot of things, hope you can be too.

PHILOSOPHY

I live life to experience those things that take your breath away. I constantly live my life appreciating my surroundings no matter where I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to get to know other peoples' stories. We often walk the streets thinking of only ourselves. We tend to forget that there is a universe out there filled with billions of worlds, each with its own history walking the same sidewalks we do. I want to know more about those worlds, those people...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed throughout Europe and have had pretty good experiences, especially when it came to big CF gatherings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll fill this in soon enough... But let's just say That anyone who lives in NYC deserves a "seen-the-craziest-things" metal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share my experiences as an "Californian" Recently turned "New Yorker." I want to also share my experiences as a person from a single parent family as well as growing up in a dual culture. Just some things I suppose I can offer. Basically I want to break stereotypes.

I would love to learn anything from anyone. I am open to hear people's adventures, advice or anything else.
